The West Sonoma County Union High School District, whose flagship campus is Analy High, has one contested trustee seat on Nov. 3, the Press Democrat reports. Ballotpedia says the district served 1,570 students in four schools in the 2025 school year.
The candidates
- Lewis Buchner (Incumbent). Buchner's county voter guide statement asks for "one more term; my second and last." It says he has run a Sebastopol cabinet shop for more than 40 years and has voted for hard budget decisions as enrollment declines.
- Dani Sheehan-Meyer (Community Volunteer). Sheehan-Meyer's statement says she raised two sons who graduated from El Molino High and has worked with business communities in Sonoma and Marin. She promises to listen, earn trust and find common ground.
Also on the ballot: Measure G, the district parcel tax renewal.
