The Waugh School District, which Ballotpedia says served 790 students in two schools in the 2025 school year, has three at-large seats on the Nov. 3 ballot. Voters pick up to three. Ballotpedia lists three board terms ending in 2026, held by Denise Bugbee, Kristine Weeks and Christine Pieper. Weeks is not on the county's candidate list.

The candidates

  • Christine D. Pieper (Incumbent). Pieper's county voter guide statement says Pieper has served on the board for 15 years, including six as board president.
  • Denise Bugbee (Incumbent). Bugbee's statement says Bugbee has served four years and notes that both district schools earned California Distinguished School recognition in 2023.
  • Dylan Lloyd (Parent/Cloud Architect).
  • Kevin Gushue (Accountant).
