The San Carlos School District, which Ballotpedia says served 2,877 students in nine schools in the 2025 school year, has three at-large board seats on the Nov. 3 ballot and four candidates: Boris Lipkin, Megha Chawla, Shivani Tripathi and Richard F. Wahl. Voters pick up to three, and the top three vote-getters win four-year terms.
What the endorsers say
Bay Ballot's tracker shows three voter guides recommending Lipkin, Chawla and Tripathi. The San Mateo Daily Journal, as quoted there, called current trustee Lipkin "by far the most knowledgable and engaged," said Chawla "focuses on data and also making sure she can be a bridge of communication with parents," and said Tripathi "is intimately familiar with all the volunteer positions in which a parent can engage and is well versed in the issues the district faces." We did not find a published endorsement of Wahl.
