Sonoma County voting guide: 7 vote centers open now, 32 starting Oct. 31
Where to vote early in Sonoma County, plus the registrar's advice not to rely on last-minute postmarks.

Seven Sonoma County vote centers are open daily through Election Day, 9 a.m.–5 p.m., with Election Day hours of 7 a.m.–8 p.m.:
Abel De Luna Community Center, 1557 Healdsburg Ave., Healdsburg
Petaluma Community Center, 320 N. McDowell Blvd.
Rohnert Park Community Center, 5401 Snyder Lane
Santa Rosa Veterans Memorial Building (North Room), 1351 Maple Ave.
Registrar of Voters, 3880 Brickway Blvd., Suite 200, Santa Rosa
Sebastopol Center for the Arts, 282 S. High St.
Faith Lutheran Church of Sonoma Valley, 19355 Arnold Drive, Sonoma
Another 25 vote centers open Saturday, Oct. 31, for a total of 32.
Mail ballots must be postmarked by Nov. 3. The registrar warns that USPS can no longer guarantee same-day postmarks, so close to the deadline it's safer to use an official drop box or a vote center.

Seven Sonoma County vote centers in Healdsburg, Petaluma, Rohnert Park, Santa Rosa, Sebastopol and Sonoma opened Oct. 24. The rest of the county's 32 open Oct. 31. Its 23 drop boxes are open 24/7 until 8 p.m. Election Day.
San Mateo County has 10 vote centers open daily through Oct. 30. That grows to 46 on Oct. 31 and all 50 by Nov. 2. Outdoor drop boxes are open 24 hours until 8 p.m. Nov. 3.
