Another 25 vote centers open Saturday, Oct. 31, for a total of 32. All are open 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Election Day.
Drop boxes
The county has 23 official drop boxes, open 24/7 from Oct. 6 until 8 p.m. Nov. 3. They range from the Bodega Bay and Kenwood fire stations to two boxes at Sonoma State University and the Rincon Valley and Roseland libraries in Santa Rosa.
A warning about mailing late
Mailed ballots must be postmarked by Nov. 3 and arrive by Nov. 10. Because mail isn't always postmarked the day it's collected, the registrar recommends not using a USPS collection box on Nov. 2 or 3. Instead, use a drop box, or ask a post office clerk to hand-postmark your ballot.
