What Zillow shows
Zillow's Home Value Index puts the typical Pittsburg home at $558,908 as of Sept. 30, 2026, down 0.8% from a year earlier. Zillow says homes go pending in about 20 days.
What it means for buyers and sellers
Pittsburg remains one of the more affordable places to buy in the Bay Area, with a median about one-eighth of Los Altos'. Redfin rates it "very competitive" (Compete Score 77), with about two offers per home and the average home selling for about 1% over list in around 27 days. But the share of listings with price cuts rose sharply, so sellers who start too high are adjusting. Compare with Antioch and Concord.
Redfin figures cover the three months through September 2026 and compare with the same period a year earlier. Zillow's Home Value Index is a typical-home estimate, not a sale price, so the two numbers measure different things and won't match exactly.
