Dublin has a new Mexican restaurant at Hacienda Crossings. El Dorado Modern Mexican Kitchen and Cantina opened a month after Cinco de Mayo, in the space Black Angus left when it closed in 2021, according to the Pleasanton Weekly’s Tri-Valley Foodist column. The shopping center lists the restaurant in its directory.

The cook behind it

Owner Jésus Gonzalez developed the recipes. He learned from his father, who owned several restaurants in Fort Collins, Colorado, and his family is from Jalisco. Gonzalez also has hospitality experience in Sonoma and Santa Rosa.
