What Zillow shows

What it means for buyers and sellers
Redfin rates Danville "very competitive" (Compete Score 81), with about two offers per home, but the average home sells at about list price in around 21 days, and only about a third sell above asking. The median rose while price per square foot dipped, which suggests larger homes made up more of this summer's sales. Zillow's nearly flat index is the better guide to what a given house is worth. Compare with San Ramon and Walnut Creek.
Redfin figures cover the three months through September 2026 and compare with the same period a year earlier. Zillow's Home Value Index is a typical-home estimate, not a sale price, so the two numbers measure different things and won't match exactly.
