What Zillow shows
Zillow's Home Value Index puts the typical Daly City home at $1,119,784 as of Sept. 30, 2026, up 3.9% from a year earlier. Zillow says homes go pending in about 16 days.
What it means for buyers and sellers
Daly City is one of the most competitive markets we've tracked this fall. Its Compete Score of 91 is far above Pleasanton's 74 or Napa's 50, and Redfin says most homes get multiple offers, often with waived contingencies. Buyers priced out of San Francisco next door should plan to bid over asking and move fast.
Redfin figures cover the three months through September 2026 and compare with the same period a year earlier. Zillow's Home Value Index is a typical-home estimate, not a sale price, so the two numbers measure different things and won't match exactly.
