The West Valley-Mission Community College District serves students in Santa Clara County and a slice of Santa Cruz County. Its trustees are elected by area, and three seats are up this year.
Area 5: Diane Lamkin, unopposed
Lamkin is the only candidate, so she wins the seat automatically, according to the League of Women Voters.
Area 3: Anne Kepner vs. Colin Glaves
Two candidates, Anne Kepner and Colin Glaves, are running in Area 3, according to the League of Women Voters forum listing.
Area 7: Susan Oster Fish vs. Doug Robb
- Susan Oster Fish (incumbent) is listed as a nurse and college trustee. Ballotpedia records that she won in 2018 and 2022 without appearing on the ballot because no one ran against her. Her campaign priorities include more counseling, stronger transfer pathways, more career and technical education, and closer scrutiny of district spending. Endorsements listed by Ballotpedia include Democratic Activists for Women Now and the Jewish Democratic Coalition of the Bay Area.
- Doug Robb is listed as a college professor and coach. He had not filled out Ballotpedia's candidate survey as of this writing.
The League of Women Voters of Southwest Santa Clara Valley held a candidate forum for both races on Sept. 15.
