Where: A secret venue near Hayes Valley and Civic Center that's an easy walk from BART, according to Funcheap's listing. The exact address is sent by text or email after you book.
When: Shows run Fridays and Saturdays at 7 and 9 p.m. Desi Comedy Night is on Saturdays, Oct. 31 and Nov. 7, 14 and 21. Fridays feature the "Crazy Funny Asians" showcase.
Cost: The first 100 RSVPs through Eventbrite get in free, with a limit of two free tickets per person. Otherwise it's $25 at the door.
Moonglow, Oakland
Where: Moonglow, the Uptown speakeasy at 1900 Telegraph Ave. Its own page says to look for an unassuming door with golden crescents in the windows.
When: A free speakeasy comedy show is listed for Saturday, Nov. 14 at 7 p.m. on outgoing.world.
Know before you go: The bar doesn't allow photos or videos. It's open Wednesday through Saturday from 7 p.m., according to the venue.
