Millbrae voters in three City Council districts choose council members on Tuesday, Nov. 3, 2026. District 3 is a special election between Ann Schneider and Juan Gámez; District 4 is Albert Yam vs. Bob Nguyen; and Sissy Riley is unopposed in District 2.
Why it matters: District 3 has no incumbent because of a vacancy, the city clerk said, so its winner serves a shortened term ending Dec. 12, 2028. Districts 2 and 4 are full four-year terms.
The races
- District 2: Sissy Riley, ballot designation "Appointed Incumbent," is the only candidate.
- District 3 (special election, partial term): Ann Schneider, "Community Volunteer," vs. Juan Gámez, "Business Consultant/Parent."
- District 4: Albert Yam, "University Data Analyst," vs. Bob Nguyen, "Small Businessowner."
Ballot designations are from the city's candidate list. Each council member is elected only by voters living in that district; the city has a district lookup by address.
