Rep. Ro Khanna is projected to win reelection in the Silicon Valley-based 17th Congressional District.
NBC Bay Area's results page, which draws on the NBC News Decision Desk, lists Ro Khanna as the projected winner in California's 17th Congressional District. Ro Khanna had 70.5% (72,364 votes) to Ritesh Tandon's 29.5% (30,251).
ABC7 shows the same totals and marks Ro Khanna as the incumbent. It lists the district as covering parts of Alameda and Santa Clara counties.
NBC showed about 46% of the expected vote counted.
All results are unofficial election-night and early-morning counts as of Wednesday, Nov. 4. Counties keep counting mail and provisional ballots for days, and certification comes later, so margins can shift, especially in close contests.
