The Golden State Valkyries trail the Atlanta Dream 2-1 in the best-of-seven WNBA Finals after a 97-71 loss in Game 3. Game 4 is Saturday, Oct. 24, at 10 a.m. PT in Atlanta, on NBC Bay Area and Peacock.
Why it matters: A win evens the series 2-2. A loss would leave the second-year expansion team one game from elimination and give Atlanta its first title, NBC Bay Area reported.

What Golden State is up against
Dream star Angel Reese has three double-doubles in three games, the San Francisco Standard reported. The Standard notes every WNBA champion of the past decade had a frontcourt scorer averaging at least 13 points in the playoffs, something the deep, wing-heavy Valkyries lack.
The Valkyries won 32 games this season. Janelle Salaün, who did not start a game, became the league's first unanimous Sixth Player of the Year.
"It's very important to zig when others are zagging," owner Joe Lacob told the Standard, comparing the roster-building to his Warriors.
