If you bought tickets to see Doja Cat at Chase Center on Monday, Oct. 19, check your calendar: the show is moving to Sunday, Oct. 25, because the Golden State Valkyries need the arena for the WNBA Finals.

The Valkyries swept the defending champion Las Vegas Aces in the semifinals, winning the clincher 87-77 in overtime on Friday night. That sends the second-year franchise to its first Finals, against the Atlanta Dream. According to NBC Bay Area, the Valkyries will host Game 1 on Oct. 17 and Game 2 on Oct. 19 at Chase Center, which put the team squarely on top of the concert date.

Your tickets still work

Golden State, which runs Chase Center and owns the Valkyries, said tickets bought for the original date stay valid for the new one. "Due to the Golden State Valkyries' advancement to the WNBA Finals, Doja Cat's Chase Center show originally scheduled for Monday, Oct. 19, will now take place on Sunday, Oct. 25," Maria Bell, a senior manager of venue communications at Golden State, told KRON4.

Ticket holders will get more details by email when they are available, the arena said. Live Nation's event listing now shows the show on Sunday, Oct. 25, at 7:30 p.m., with Latto also on the bill.

Where it fits on the tour

The concert is part of Doja Cat's Tour Ma Vie World Tour, supporting her album "Vie." The San Francisco Chronicle reported that the new date slots the Bay Area stop between the tour's Los Angeles-area show on Oct. 22 and its San Diego date on Oct. 27.

If the new Sunday doesn't work for you, watch for that email from the arena before making plans. No refund policy for the date change had been announced as of Saturday.

A busy month at Chase Center

The shuffle shows how quickly the Valkyries have become one of the arena's biggest draws. A team that didn't exist two seasons ago is now bumping a major pop tour, and San Francisco gets home Finals games in its place. For fans of both, the good news is you may be able to catch a title game and still see the concert a week later.
