The Golden State Valkyries are one win from their first WNBA championship. If you want to be in the building when they try, it'll cost you. After the Atlanta Dream won Game 6 80-69 on Thursday, forcing the first Game 7 in WNBA Finals history, ticket prices for Saturday at Chase Center jumped.
What tickets cost
The San Francisco Standard checked listings right after Game 6:
- Ticketmaster courtside: two seats in row AA listed at $13,195.94 each, including VIP JPMorgan Club access and food and drink service. Other seats in that section ranged from about $5,900 to $11,800.
- StubHub courtside: row BB seats for $5,932.
- Cheapest upper-level seats: $442 on Ticketmaster and $441.32 on StubHub.
Game 6 in Atlanta was a different story. With a 12:30 p.m. local start on a weekday, prices there fell as low as $23, the Standard reported. Golden State has sold out every home game in its first two seasons and averaged a league-record 18,064 fans per game in the 2026 regular season.
The watch-party crowd
Game 6 tipped off at 9:30 a.m. Pacific, and several thousand fans still showed up to the Thrive City plaza outside Chase Center to watch on a screen 74 feet wide and 42 feet high, the Associated Press reported. Fans got rally towels at the entrance. When the in-arena host asked who had taken the day off work or school, hundreds of hands went up.
Sika Lopez pulled her 11-year-old daughter Kendra out of sixth grade in the East Bay for the morning. "This is such a monumental moment. The Valkyries have worked so hard. When I was her age this wasn't even possible," Lopez said. Kendra, a Kayla Thornton fan, said supporting such a young team "means something to me."
Wendy Franklin-Willis, a middle school teacher in Castro Valley, was there too. "They've already won by getting here, a second-year expansion team, no real superstar," she said. Joshua Padilla of Santa Clara brought two of his four daughters. "Women's sports is thriving right now and it's becoming bigger," he said.
Saturday's game
Game 7 is Saturday, Oct. 31, at 5 p.m. at Chase Center. Whichever team wins will capture its first championship.
