Voters in Strawberry, the unincorporated Marin community near Mill Valley, have two recreation district races on the Nov. 3 ballot.
Full-term seats
Three seats are open. Incumbents Sohrab Saghezchi, Peter Teese and Sarah G. Waterfield face David T. Morgenthaler, who listed himself as a father and community advocate. The Ark describes these as four-year seats.
Short-term seat
Appointed incumbent Doug Twillman faces Aliza Hawkins, a businesswoman and mother, for a two-year term. The Ark reported that the board appointed Twillman in 2025 over Hawkins, so this race is a rematch decided by voters.

Election Day is Tuesday, Nov. 3. Polls and vote centers close at 8 p.m., and mailed ballots must be postmarked by Election Day and arrive within seven days. You can check your registration and ballot status at sos.ca.gov/elections. California lets you register and vote the same day at a vote center.
