Willow Glen: Friday, Oct. 30
Businesses along Lincoln Avenue, from Minnesota Avenue to Willow Street, will hand out candy in two sessions:
11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. for toddlers
3 to 4:30 p.m. for school-age kids
Organizers ask families to follow the route clockwise.
Downtown: pop-ups through Oct. 31

The Tech Interactive has a slime-making workshop for kids on Halloween. Several downtown garages offer 90 minutes of free parking, according to the San Jose Downtown Association.
