The San Francisco Coffee Festival turns 10 this year. The festival runs Saturday, Nov. 7, and Sunday, Nov. 8, at the Festival Pavilion at Fort Mason Center, 2 Marina Blvd.
Sessions
The festival's FAQ lists the same schedule both days: a morning VIP session from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., morning general admission from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., and afternoon general admission from 1:30 to 4:30 p.m. Beverage service ends 15 minutes before each session closes, and there is no service from 1 to 1:30 p.m. Only All Day Pass holders can stay inside during that break. Tickets are good only for the day and session printed on them.
What's poured
Organizers promise curated exhibitors including Bay Area roasters pouring coffee and tea, food, educational panels and live bands. Project SF describes more than a hundred specialty roasters and coffee shops and notes the event is indoors, so it goes ahead whatever the weather.
Getting there: Project SF says Muni's 43 stops within a five-minute walk. Fort Mason is busy that weekend; the SF Ballet's Tiny Dances is nearby.
