San Bruno Rejects Fireworks Ban; Business Tax and Housing Measure Pass

Measure DD, the San Bruno Fireworks Ban, had 4,822 no votes (63.31%) to 2,795 yes, according to NBC Bay Area.

Measure EE, a business license tax, had 4,838 yes votes (64.97%), and Measure S, on housing permits and developments, had 4,712 yes votes (64.16%).

ABC7 lists all three in its San Mateo County results.

Elsewhere on the Peninsula, NBC showed Belmont's Measure Y special tax failing 55% to 45%, and Menlo Park's Measure P initiative trailing 52% to 48%.

All results are unofficial election-night and early-morning counts as of Wednesday, Nov. 4. Counties keep counting mail and provisional ballots for days, and certification comes later, so margins can shift, especially in close contests.
