Natalie Portman has confirmed the birth of her third child, her first with French music producer Tanguy Destable, in a Harper's Bazaar interview published Monday. E! News reports the baby arrived in September.
Why it matters: The Oscar winner, 45, announced the pregnancy in April and has kept her family life largely private since moving to Paris.
"Magical little human"
Portman said she is "full of wonder and joy at this magical little human," according to USA Today's account of the interview.
Why Paris
She contrasted the privacy she has in France with her earlier pregnancies in the U.S. "When I was pregnant in New York and L.A., I was followed by 20 men every day," she said, adding that in Paris she is "almost completely left alone."
Her family
Portman is also mom to Aleph, 15, and Amalia, 9, whom she shares with choreographer Benjamin Millepied. Their divorce was finalized in 2024.
