The Marin Healthcare District, the public agency that owns MarinHealth Medical Center in Greenbrae, says three of its five board seats are up for election in November. Directors are elected by division to four-year terms.
Division 1
An open race between Clayton Hess, a public health physician, and Kendra Hoepper, who lists herself as an administrator, professor and nurse.
Division 3
Incumbent Dr. Brian Su, the board's vice chair, faces orthopedic surgeon Dr. Jonathan Goff. The district says Su is a spine surgeon at California Orthopedics and Spine and medical director of spine surgery at MarinHealth Medical Center.
Division 4
Board chair Jennifer Rienks is the only candidate. The district says she was first elected in 2006 and is associate director of the Family Health Outcomes Project at UCSF.
Also on the ballot
District voters will also decide Measure CC, a parcel tax for the hospital's emergency, ICU and trauma services. Read our explainer: Marin Healthcare Measure CC.
