Telegraph Avenue has a new sandwich shop. Hoagie's World of Hoagies opened Sept. 22 at 2618 Telegraph Ave. (at Carleton Street) in Berkeley, according to Berkeleyside's Nosh. It's in the former Kuboba Spot, a Filipino-inspired empanada and boba shop that closed in June.

The hoagies

The shop's online menu lists an Italian (ham, capicola, salami and provolone with sweet and hot peppers) and a turkey hoagie at $16, and an $18 cheesesteak, roast pork with broccoli rabe, house meatball and a "Vegan Jawn." The rotating "World Hoagie of the Month" is currently chicken tikka masala with paneer. Any hoagie comes half-size as "The Lil' Jabroni," and gluten-free rolls are available at no extra charge.

Sides and sweets

The menu also lists Herr's chips, canned sodas, soft serve and shakes. Berkeleyside reported hoagies are $20 and under.

Hours

The shop's website says it's open every day from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
