Supper clubs are mostly invite-only, booked through mailing lists, and often held at locations you learn shortly before you go. Here's what the clubs themselves list right now.

The Berkeley Supper Club

How it works: Dinners are for members only. You join as an "Active Member" through the club's Luma page. On Luma, the club describes itself as a California nonprofit 501(c)(7) social club.

Dates: The club lists fall dinners on Sept. 13, Oct. 4, Nov. 15 and Dec. 20. The next is "November Supper Club: Sobremesa," held at Urban Adamah in Berkeley according to its Luma listing.

Cost: The site lists three ticket levels: $60 community, $90 standard and $120 or more for supporters.

Mosa, San Francisco

Mosa is a San Francisco supper club with resident chef Lemuel Ramos. Its prices are all-inclusive. Its events page lists past dinners on May 31 (with Sfoglia Club) and June 18, 2026, and no upcoming dates yet, so join the list to hear about the next one.

Clandestino, Berkeley

Clandestino calls itself an underground pop-up cafe and theater in Berkeley. Its site doesn't list any future dates yet.

Hi Neighbor's "Eat Like a Chef, Drink Like a Somm"

This charity dinner series from the Hi Neighbor restaurant group is held at a hidden private club downtown. The location is shared seven days before each dinner. According to the group's page, the 2025 series cost $125 plus $65 for wine pairings and raised almost $50,000 for Sprouts Cooking Club. The 2026 lineup says "check back soon."

Tips

  • Sign up for mailing lists, because supper-club seats often go to subscribers first.
  • Expect communal tables and set menus. Ask about dietary needs when you book.
  • Read cancellation terms, since many clubs charge upfront.
