Nosh's latest closings list, published on The Oaklandside and Berkeleyside, includes several long-running East Bay spots.
- Nabolom Bakery & Pizzeria, 2708 Russell St., Berkeley. The 50-year-old Elmwood bakery planned its last day for Sunday, Oct. 18. It closed once before, about 11 years ago, then reopened in February 2016 with pizza on the menu.
- Oeste, 722 Clay St., Oakland. The Old Oakland rooftop bar and kitchen set its final service for Oct. 24.
- Flipside, 3401 Lakeshore Ave., Oakland. The burger shop closes Oct. 31 after almost 15 years. Co-owner Nimer Musleh blamed ingredient costs and rent and said Main Squeeze Juice Bar stays open.
- Los Cocos, 1449 Fruitvale Ave., Oakland. The Salvadoran restaurant has been closed since mid-July after its building sold, after more than 35 years in the Fruitvale.
- Bodi's Java, Castro Valley. The 10-year-old coffee shop is closing at the end of the month.
- Sliver Pizzeria, 2468 Telegraph Ave., Berkeley, has closed. Other Sliver locations remain open.
- Oh G Burger on Solano Avenue in Berkeley has closed. Nosh, citing the Chronicle, says Smish Smash is taking over the space.
- Also closed: M2 Burger at El Cerrito Plaza, Rockit Char Grill in downtown Hayward and Sushi Villa in downtown Oakland.
