Bay FC is less than three months from moving into its own performance center on Treasure Island, with the club targeting a January opening ahead of the 2027 NWSL season, Hoodline reported, citing an ABC7 tour of the site.
What's being built
Facilities: The center will include a kitchen, gym and lap pool, ABC7 reported. Earlier permit filings described a weight room, medical and wellness center, locker rooms and offices, Hoodline reported.
Site: The project occupies 8.5 acres of the 40 acres on Treasure Island set aside for sports use, according to Hoodline. Ground broke in September 2025, and the final structural beam went up June 25, 2026.
Current setup: Bay FC shares practice space with San Jose State.
"We never had anything close to this, but that's why we're doing this, that's why we're founders," co-founder Leslie Osborne said. "Our players deserve more." Osborne co-founded the club with Brandi Chastain, Aly Wagner and Danielle Slaton.
Hoodline noted that reports have differed on the building's size, from 20,000 to 25,000 square feet.
