Voters in the city of Alameda who planned to vote at Bohol Circle should go elsewhere. A notice on the Alameda County Registrar of Voters' vote center page says Vote Center #22, Bohol Circle Incorporated, “is now closed and will not be replaced for this election.”

The registrar says the nearest vote center is #23, the 1st Congregational Church of Alameda at 1912 Central Ave., about half a mile away. The registrar did not give a reason for the closure on the page.

The Alameda Post's Election Day post on Tuesday still listed Bohol Circle, at 1815 Union St., among the city's six vote centers. The other five it listed are Independence Plaza, 703 Atlantic Ave.; Central Baptist Church, 2133 Central Ave.; First Congregational Church of Alameda, 1912 Central Ave.; South Shore Center; and Island High School, 500 Pacific Ave. Vote centers are open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.

The Alameda Post also listed three ballot drop boxes in the city: City Hall at 2263 Santa Clara Ave., Bay Farm Island Library at 2331 Mecartney Road and College of Alameda at 555 Ralph Appezzato Memorial Parkway. Alameda voters can use any vote center in Alameda County, not just ones in their city.
