San Jose State hosts New Mexico at CEFCU Stadium on Saturday, Oct. 31, at 1 p.m. The game airs on NBC Sports Bay Area and streams on MW+, according to SJSU Athletics.
The matchup
Records: New Mexico is 6-1 (3-0 Mountain West). San Jose State is 4-4 (2-2), per the Albuquerque Journal.
Line: The Journal, citing DraftKings, lists UNM as a 14.5-point favorite with an over/under of 41.5.
Last week: SJSU lost 28-13 at Nevada.
A strange streak
The Journal reports New Mexico has played at San Jose State nine times since 1969 and has never won there. The only non-loss was a 21-21 tie in 1971. SJSU also beat the Lobos 35-28 last season, a result the Journal says kept UNM out of the Mountain West title game.
