The Los Angeles Rams beat the Raiders 35-21 on Sunday at Allegiant Stadium, sending Las Vegas to its fourth straight loss after a 3-0 start.

How it happened

  • Stafford's record: Matthew Stafford went 23 of 29 for 195 yards and three touchdowns, passing Roman Gabriel's 154 for the Rams' career record with 155 touchdown passes, the Rams reported.
  • Ground game: Kyren Williams and Blake Corum combined for 192 rushing yards and two touchdowns on 33 carries. The Rams led 28-6 at halftime; both teams are now 3-4.
  • Cousins: Kirk Cousins threw for 295 yards and two touchdowns. He leads the league with 16 touchdown passes, ESPN reported via ABC7.

Quarterback question

"At this point, we're thinking about everything to fix our problems," Kubiak said, listing the red zone, third quarters, personnel and scheme. Asked about rookie Fernando Mendoza, the No. 1 overall pick, he did not rule out a change, though he said he didn't consider one Sunday because the Raiders made it competitive late.

The bigger issue may be the defense, which has allowed 35.8 points and 416.5 yards per game since Week 4, and a run game that hasn't reached 100 yards since Week 3. Cousins said Mendoza "has a bright future ahead" of him.
