About the space
Gold Palm calls itself "Uptown Oakland's home for rotating chef residencies, community gatherings and private events." Chef Sarah Kirnon's Holders House popped up there earlier this month, The Oaklandside reported. Gold Palm's sister bars are Bar Shiru and Moonglow, which are also in Oakland's Arts and Entertainment District. Moonglow is in our Oakland speakeasy guide.
