Oracle on Monday announced Oracle Fusion Companion and Oracle Fusion Agentic Home, new AI features for its Fusion Cloud business applications, at its AI World conference.

What they do

  • Fusion Companion figures out which transactions, workflows, approvals and AI agents are needed to finish a task, while keeping a user's permissions and security controls, Oracle said. Workers can reach it through supported AI tools such as ChatGPT.
  • Fusion Agentic Home is a built-in AI home screen inside Fusion where users set goals, hand work to agents and track progress.

"AI is changing where enterprise work begins, but organizations need to maintain control over how that work gets done," said Chris Leone, Oracle's executive vice president of applications development.

Background

The features build on Fusion Claw, a runtime Oracle introduced in September for longer-running agent tasks. SiliconANGLE reported then that Claw uses frontier models from Google's Gemini and OpenAI for reasoning, while calculations and transactions run outside the model. Oracle's lineup of Fusion agentic applications grew to 75 with that launch.
