Two NFC East teams that expected to contend meet Monday night with both sitting at 2-4, as the Dallas Cowboys visit the Philadelphia Eagles at Lincoln Financial Field. Kickoff is 8:15 p.m. ET (5:15 p.m. PT), according to Fubo.

Eagles' injury list

  • Quarterback: Jalen Hurts is out after blood clots were found in his calf and lungs, CBS Sports reported. Tanner McKee, who Yahoo Sports said was ineffective in his first start last week, starts again.
  • Also out: Receivers DeVonta Smith and Dontayvion Wicks and pass rusher Nolan Smith. Saquon Barkley, out since Week 4 with a hamstring injury, is questionable.
  • Skid: Philadelphia has lost four straight after a 2-0 start.

Cowboys' slump

Dallas has lost two in a row and scored just 29 points combined against the Buccaneers and Packers after topping 30 in each of the three games before that, CBS Sports reported. The Cowboys struggled against blitzes, though the Eagles blitz on just 24.1% of dropbacks, fourth-lowest in the league. Dallas ranked 31st in rushing yards after Week 6, Yahoo Sports reported.

"Because of the lack of a running game, we're a little bit one-sided," coach Brian Schottenheimer said after the Packers loss. A loss would drop the Cowboys to 2-5. The Giants lead the division at 4-2-1.
