Midpen manages open space preserves across the Peninsula and the Santa Cruz Mountains. Its Ward 1 seat is on the Nov. 3 ballot.
Craig Gleason
Gleason has served on the board since 2023 and lives in Los Gatos. He is a retired chip-design engineer who co-founded Synfora, which Synopsys bought in 2010. He told the Palo Alto Ledger his main interest is "striking the right balance between preservation and access." He supports Measure AA's "Old Trees, New Trails" vision, multi-use trails shared by hikers with bikers or equestrians, and changes to cut down on high-speed trail crossings. He points to the easy-access trail at Bear Creek Redwoods as a first-term example.
Tina Marie To
Ballotpedia lists To's profession as director of operations. She has a bachelor's degree from UC Santa Cruz and UC Berkeley, a graduate degree from the University of Sydney, and an associate degree from De Anza College. She is not an incumbent, and she completed Ballotpedia's candidate survey.
