Infisical announced Tuesday, Oct. 27, that it has raised a $40 million Series B at a $600 million valuation. Elad Gil, who also invested in the company's Series A, led the round. Gradient and Y Combinator are among the other investors. CEO Vlad Matsiiako also announced the raise in a post on X.

What Infisical does

Infisical's platform stores and controls access to "secrets": passwords, API keys, authentication tokens, encryption keys and digital certificates. Its newest product, Agent Vault, lets a company give an AI agent access to systems like databases or cloud infrastructure without handing the agent the credentials. The goal is that a compromised agent can't leak a key, and an agent can't accidentally pass one to an outside model provider.

"You wouldn't give an employee unrestricted access to every system in your company, and AI agents shouldn't be any different," Matsiiako said in the announcement.

By the numbers

  • More than 1,300 customers and 300,000 developers
  • 10 billion secrets secured per day, according to the company
  • More than 30,000 GitHub stars for its open-source project
  • Customers named include Airbus, Volkswagen, Hugging Face, OpenRouter, Wise and Clay

The company says the money will go to product development, expanding its engineering and go-to-market teams, and more security infrastructure for AI agents.
