Dusk to Dawn Halloween Moves Into the Palace of Fine Arts With Big Wild, Vandelux and a Foam Pit

One of the city's biggest Halloween parties has a new home. Dusk to Dawn is coming to the Palace of Fine Arts, 3301 Lyon St., on Saturday, Oct. 31, filling about 150,000 square feet of the building. It is the event's first year there. The party is presented by Opel Productions, Electroluxx, Ghost Palace and NPU Live. It is 21 and over and starts at 9 p.m. Listings give different end times, so plan on a very late night.

The lineup

The main GhostShip Stage features Big Wild, Vandelux (DJ set), Hercules and Love Affair (DJ set) and David Harness. Seven more music areas spread through the building, plus a silent disco.

Beyond the music

Organizers promise performers from the Vau de Vire Society, art cars, food trucks and a foam pit lounge. There are also themed bars: a tiki bar, a dive bar, a singles bar and a champagne-and-caviar bar.
