Burlingame Hotel Tax and School Bond Both Pass

Measure D, the Burlingame Transient Occupancy Tax, had 4,969 yes votes (77.64%) to 1,431 no, according to NBC Bay Area. ABC7 lists it as the Burlingame Hotel Tax with 78% yes.

Measure R, the Burlingame School District Bond, had 4,532 yes votes (68.02%) to 2,131 no, clearing the 55% bond threshold.

All results are unofficial election-night and early-morning counts as of Wednesday, Nov. 4. Counties keep counting mail and provisional ballots for days, and certification comes later, so margins can shift, especially in close contests.
