Burberry announced Monday that its London flagship at 121 Regent Street will be "restored and reimagined as Burberry House," with a full unveiling planned for autumn 2027, FashionNetwork and WWD reported. The store stays open during the phased work.
What's inside
- Trench Arcade: a space for the brand's trench coats, with a bespoke service to restore coats and options for personalization.
- 1856 Gallery: rotating exhibits of archival designs on the first-floor mezzanine.
- Drawing Room: private client appointments and aftercare.
- Knight's Tale: a children's department inspired by medieval castles.
- The Foyer's circular dome will be restored to its 1920s golden look, from when the building was a cinema.
The clock comes back
The historic "Burberrys" clock, displayed for decades outside the brand's Haymarket headquarters, will return above the Regent Street entrance. "We look forward to welcoming people to meet once again under the clock," CEO Joshua Schulman said.
The store debuts Burberry's new "Regent Concept" design, created with interior designer Peter Mikic and inspired by the British home. Burberry moved its flagship to the Grade II-listed building in 2012 after nearly a century on Haymarket.
