Sunday, Nov. 8
- San Francisco Mayor's Salute to Veterans parade: 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Fisherman's Wharf, per Upbeat Parade Productions.
- GLIDE Church Sunday Celebration, 9–11 a.m., 330 Ellis St.: For decades, GLIDE has honored San Franciscans who served on the Sunday before Veterans Day. Swords to Plowshares says this year's service will include perspectives from transgender veterans.
Monday, Nov. 9
Swords to Plowshares' "Salute to You" party for veterans, 1–3 p.m., at the Michael Blecker Veterans Center, 1060 Howard St.
Tuesday, Nov. 10
Swords to Plowshares' 30th Annual Veterans Day Celebration, 6–10 p.m., at the Julia Morgan Ballroom, 465 California St. This is a ticketed fundraiser with tickets starting at $200.
Wednesday, Nov. 11
The Interfaith Center of the Presidio holds its Veterans Day service at 11 a.m. at the Presidio Chapel, 130 Fisher Loop, with Michael Blecker speaking. RSVPs are encouraged.
