Local artists, crafters and vendors will sell jewelry, textile art, fine art and home goods at the Redwood City Woman's Club on Sunday, Nov. 8, the Redwood City Pulse reported.

Why it matters: It's an early chance to shop for holiday gifts from Redwood City-area makers, and vendor fees help pay to preserve a historic clubhouse.

The details

The show runs from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the clubhouse, 149 Clinton St. The club's website calls it Chic Boutique and pitches it as a place to "find the perfect holiday gift."

Vendors include Chef Lionel, who wrote the cookbook "Sugar, Salt, and Sunshine" with his young son; The Cake Robin, selling chocolates; and Elvio Design, which makes wooden boxes shaped like eggplants, acorns and mushrooms, the Pulse reported.

All the vendors are from the Redwood City area, club representative Elaine Park told the Pulse.

Where the money goes

Vendor fees for space at the show go to the clubhouse's preservation fund. The club does not get any money from vendors' sales.

About the club

The Redwood City Woman's Club was incorporated in 1909, according to its website. Its members opened the clubhouse on Oct. 26, 1911, after two years of fundraising, and the building is a registered historic landmark.
