Daytona, a startup building cloud computers for AI agents, raised a $60 million Series B at a $1 billion valuation, led by FirstMark Growth, the company said. Its total funding is now $91 million, TechCrunch reported.

What it does

Daytona gives each AI agent its own sandboxed computer, with Linux, Windows, macOS and GPU environments on one platform. "Agents don't work like the long-lived services today's cloud was designed for," CEO Ivan Burazin wrote in the company's announcement.

  • Angel investors include Stripe's Patrick Collison, Shopify's Tobi Lütke, Perplexity's Aravind Srinivas, Zoom's Eric Yuan, Datadog's Olivier Pomel, Quora's Adam D'Angelo and Mercor's Brendan Foody.

Growth claims

The company says revenue has grown about 25 times since January. It lists Meta, Cohere, Writer, Clay, n8n and Postman among its customers, and says Writer provisioned 300,000 sandboxes on Daytona in a single month.

TechCrunch describes the three-year-old company as New York-based. Daytona says it is hiring on site in San Francisco for engineering, go-to-market and operations roles.
